The Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation strengthens its global presence and enables youth to dialogue with leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos

The Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation continues its efforts to create empowerment opportunities for the youth community and involve them in addressing global challenges, through its fifth participation in the World Economic Forum, which will be held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 16 to 20, 2023.

Through its international presence and participation in the World Economic Forum, the Misk Foundation seeks to create a common platform for dialogue between the youth community and decision-makers, to discuss and address global challenges and youth needs, and to demonstrate the role and ability of youth to leave an impact and create global positive changes.

Misk is participating in Davos with the Youth Council pavilion, which comes as an extension of the Foundation’s endeavor to promote intergenerational dialogue, as it brings together leaders with young people with the aim of exchanging ideas and discussing topics of importance. It also aims to communicate the impact of the Foundation to the youth community globally. It is scheduled that the “Youth Council” will hold dialogue sessions that bring together global youth with more than 30 speakers from decision makers, businessmen and thinkers from the Kingdom and the world, as well as interactive platforms that seek to enable the young generation to bring about positive change in issues of paramount importance at the international level and to make their voice heard. The last participation in 2022 witnessed the attendance of more than 1,700 visitors from 42 countries, the participation of 14 leaders, and the holding of 23 strategic meetings.

Since it was established in 2011 AD; The Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation enabled young leaders to represent the Kingdom in international forums, enrich youth issues and face global challenges through the concept of global citizenship. More than 280 students graduated from the Misk Fellowship Program who worked on more than 40 projects to devise solutions to address national challenges. This is within the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The Foundation also organized 6 copies of the Misk Global Forum, and the sixth edition, which is the exceptional and largest edition that was held last November, achieved a remarkable attendance and participation of 28,000 visitors from 64 countries.

It is worth noting that the Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation aims to empower future leaders and unleash the potential of Saudi youth, in accordance with its vision of establishing an attractive organizational environment that enables promising youth to shape the future of the Kingdom and the world as a whole, and its mission to develop innovative programs for youth and the institutions concerned with them in Kingdom to qualify the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs and creative youth energies.
