To maximize the impact of the non-profit sector on the national economy. “Misk” celebrates the rehabilitation of non-profit youth organizations under the auspices of the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development

The Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation celebrated the graduates of the second batch of the “Building Non-Profit Youth Organizations Program.” During the closing ceremony of the program, it presented youth initiatives and organizations that serve the non-profit sector, under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi, and in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Misk Foundation, Dr. Ghassan Al-Shibl, the Secretary-General of the Foundation, Eng. Badr Al-Kahil, His Excellency the CEO, Dr. Badr Al-Badr, and His Excellency the CEO of the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector, Mr. Ahmed Al-Suwailem, along with a group of representatives of government agencies, foundations, NGOs, and donors. for the non-profit sector.
The non-profit Mohammed bin Salman City hosted the closing ceremony, which included the presentation of 12 youth organizations, where Misk supported six emerging initiatives, accelerated and empowered six existing youth associations at the level of the Kingdom; To move these youth initiatives and organizations from the inception stage to the pioneering stage, and thus begin their journey towards making an impact and serving the community. During the ceremony, the most important programs and projects that the supported youth organizations are working on during the coming period were reviewed.
His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi, thanked the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk” for its efforts, support and empowerment of non-profit sector organizations, as well as its support for youth initiatives, registering them as non-profit organizations and providing support to them, indicating that the efforts are integrated according to an ambitious vision led by His Royal Highness. Al-Ahed, who is the supporter and motivator of the non-profit sector, noting the great successes achieved by “Misk” over the past 10 years, and that society today is reaping the foundation’s successes in empowering young people and presenting them as promising leaders in the non-profit sector.
In turn, the CEO of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk” indicated that “work in the non-profit sector has become a developmental institutional work that creates solutions to the most important challenges of our country; Young people are the best to adopt this approach.”
For her part, Ms. Dima Al-Sheikh, Director General of Community Communication at the Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation, indicated that the Misk Community Path – one of the four tracks of the Foundation – continues its endeavors towards activating one of the goals of the Foundation’s updated strategy, by launching 35 institutions concerned with youth and supporting them through the Foundation and its agencies. subsidiary by 2030.
The program for building non-profit youth organizations seeks to build the basic organizational capabilities of the supported initiatives, by strengthening its administrative aspects, focusing on learning aspects, and applying the most prominent global methodologies; To ensure its sustainability and its impact on society.
It comes as part of the efforts of the program to build non-profit youth organizations, which falls within the series of Misk Community Programs – one of the four Misk tracks – to support youth initiatives and register them as non-profit youth organizations, in addition to accelerating the growth and empowerment of existing NGOs.
